Falling Keys ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Falling Keys Generator web service. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By using the service you agree to this policy.
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password (or, for Google sign-in, your Google profile email). We do not store passwords in plain text.
Uploaded audio files. When you submit a job, the audio file you upload is transferred to our servers and then to cloud processing infrastructure. The file is retained only for the duration of processing and is deleted immediately afterwards.
Generated videos. Output video files are stored securely in cloud storage for up to 30 days, after which they are automatically deleted. You can download your video at any time during this period.
Job metadata. We store records of your processing jobs, including status, timestamps, and storage paths, linked to your account ID. This data is retained for as long as your account is active.
Usage data. We collect basic server logs (IP address, request timestamps, browser type) for security and operational purposes. These logs are retained for 30 days.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your uploaded audio to train any machine learning model.
Supabase. We use Supabase for user authentication and file storage. Your account data and generated videos are stored on Supabase infrastructure. Supabase is GDPR-compliant and processes data on your behalf. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
Modal Labs. Audio transcription is processed on Modal Labs cloud GPU infrastructure. Audio data is transmitted to Modal servers solely for the purpose of running the AI model and is not retained by Modal after processing. See Modal's Privacy Policy.
We do not share your data with any other third parties.
We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your login session via Supabase Auth. These cookies are essential for the service to function and do not require separate consent under most jurisdictions. We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at support@fallingkeys.app. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
This service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For material changes, we will notify account holders by email.
